Darby Glenn Welcomes our New Admissions Director

Darby Glenn is happy to welcome Kalie Demosky as our new Admissions Director! Kalie transfered to Darby Glenn from one of our sister facilities, Country View of Sunbury, and we couldn't be more excited for our newest addition. We wanted to give Kalie the opportunity to introduce herself and share with our community what lead her to our doors!



"Like I'm sure everyone has felt in one way or another, this pandemic has rocked me. For me, it called me to action. Prior to the pandemic, I worked primarily in the Engineering industry as an admin and began working from home as soon as it hit in March. Sitting at home while this was going on just didn't sit well with me. Having no prior healthcare experience whatsoever, I had hoped my administrative and marketing background would be suitable enough to get my foot in the door. Thankfully, in June, it did and it's been the one of the best things I've done! I owe all the credit to Country View of Sunbury for allowing me for the opportunity to learn and to grow in this role.

What I love about being in an admissions role is being a shoulder for these families. Hearing their stories drives me beyond what I thought I was capable of. I find it easy to instantly treat them like my own family and do what needs to be done so that they feel comfortable with their loved ones being in a facility during this time. I give each of them my phone number so they can call or text me at any time if they have concerns or questions and I find this has made all the difference. When families can't connect with their loved ones like they used to in a facility, it's this mode of communication that I've seen makes a world of difference during the transition.

I have recently transferred from Country View to Darby Glenn and am so excited to bring this mentality to this facility. These families need support more than ever before and I am honored to be a helping hand in making them feel confident in their choice of facility."
